Ohio Department of Transportation Visual Classification Course for Geotechnical Logging of Soil and Rock Stratum is focused towards entry level soil engineers / senior drill crew foreman to mid-level engineers in order to meet ODOT's planned requirements. It is a hands on short course to develop high quality field classification of samples during subsurface explorations. It will assist in adequate soil / rock identification and thus reduced liability for errors and emissions.
Each participant will receive 7 Hours for Continuing Professional Development (7 CPD).
Instructors: Mr. Leroy Wertz, P.E., for the Soil section (Mornings) and Mr. Steven Porpora, P.E., for the Rock section (Afternoons)
