The ways to give

Outright and annual gifts

Thoughtful planning of your gift to the College of Engineering can help you to achieve your philanthropic objectives. Gifts of any level can be made to the College of Engineering in forms of cash, securities, real estate, personal property and in-kind equipment. A gift can be directed to a specific interest, including but not limited to:

• Student scholarships;
• Academic Program Development (you may specify an Engineering Department or program such as Women in Engineering and IDEAs);
• Student Design Teams;
• Teaching/research lab upgrades;
• Faculty training;
• Graduate student research, and much more.

Your gift can also be directed to the College of Engineering Dean’s Fund. This unrestricted fund provides important support to the emerging needs within the College.

Planned gifts

Bequests, life insurance, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder annuity trusts, pooled income funds, life estate agreements, charitable lead trusts and revocable living trust agreements are also very important means to support the College of Engineering.

Endowment: Your gift can make a lasting impact

An endowment is a permanent fund that represents a legacy of your support and belief in the College of Engineering. Depending on your interests, the income from your endowment can deliver much needed aid to Engineering students with scholarship support or enable the college to push forward in areas of strategic importance and program development, helping to strengthen college’s place among the nation’s most notable engineering colleges.
