Summer 2013
Late March 2013	Summer 2013 Awarding Begins Must have a 2013-2014 FAFSA on file to complete the summer aid application and enroll in summer classes.
05/10/2013	1st Summer Session Disbursement Begins File must be complete and student must be enrolled to receive first available disbursement. Disbursements will be made periodically once classes begin.
06/03/2013	Summer 2013 Pell Grant Census The point in time that Student Financial Aid evaluates your official enrollment status for financial aid purposes. The actual time that Census occurs is at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) on the 15th calendar day of each semester. Your Pell Grant is based on your registration on the end of the Add/Drop period, also called the "census date." Additional courses registered after this date will not be covered by the Pell Grant.

03/01/2013	New Freshmen UA Scholarship Priority Date New freshmen will be awarded scholarships based primarily on high school academic records and ACT/SAT test scores on file with the Office of Admissions. Students must be fully admitted to The University of Akron by March 1 in order to be considered for all available scholarships.
05/01/2013	Undergraduate Continuing and Transfer Students Deadline Continuing and Transfer undergraduate students must submit a Scholarship Application no later than May 1 to be considered for private (endowed) scholarships for the following academic year.
08/13/2013	Fall 2013 Disbursement Begins Disbursement begins for enrolled students. Disbursements will be made periodically once classes begin. Students can get a refund by direct deposit or check. Refund checks will be mailed to qualifying students 5-7 days after disbursement. Learn more
