Although the cost of attending The University of Akron will vary among all students, the University bases its financial aid packages (scholarships, grants, work and loans) on cost estimates or “budgets”. Following are estimated average costs used for undergraduate students living on campus:

Cost of attendance is the same for on campus and off campus when calculating aid.

How is my award calculated?

Your financial aid award will be higher than your cost of attendance because it is intended to not only meet the costs identified above but also includes additional support for indirect costs such as personal expenses.
