The following forms are provided so that you might expedite your financial aid processing. Please read the directions below carefully before selecting which forms you need to complete. Master Institutional Aid Application Please use the appropriate form by clicking on the link below to the Master Institutional Aid Application that is labeled for the year you are first receiving Financial Aid.
If you are a student who is receiving aid for the first time at the University of Akron during the 2007-2008 Academic Year (Summer 2007, Fall 2007, Spring 2008), then click on "2007-2008 Master Institutional Aid Application."
If you are a student who is receiving aid for the first time at the University of Akron during the 2006-2007 Acacemic Year (Summer 2006, Fall 2006, Spring 2007), then click on "2006-2007 Master Institutional Aid Application."
Students may and should update the information they provide on this form when changes to this information occur.

Verification Forms
If your file was selected for verification and you filed your FAFSA using your income and your parent's income, you must complete the DEPENDENT VERIFICATION WORKSHEET. If you provided your income and/or your spouse's income, you must complete the INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION WORKSHEET.

To avoid delays in processing....
DO NOT COMPLETE THESE FORMS UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN DIRECTED TO DO SO BY EMAIL, LETTER, OR BY A FINANCIAL AID COUNSELOR.
Use the below 2008-2009 forms if you:
1. Have completed your FAFSA Form for 2008-2009
AND
2. Have received your SAR (Student Aid Report)
AND
3. Have been specifically requested either via email or letter from the University of Akron's Office of Student Financial Aid & Student Employment to complete the forms listed below.
NOTE: If you had to provide parent information on the FAFSA form, you should complete the DEPENDENT form.
