UA Student Innovation Symposium

The University of Akron Student Innovation Symposium invites the submission of research and scholarly projects from all academic disciplines. Students interested in participating in this event must submit a proposal or abstract for an oral or poster presentation.

 The organizers of the symposium would like to issue a special invitation to departments and faculty. Departments and faculty may propose their own session themes and/or participate in the graduate school fair that runs parallel to the presentations. Last year there were over 200 student presenters. This is a great way for departments to showcase their collaborative research efforts and provide students with a professional opportunity that will enhance their resumes, graduate school applications and professional poise for new careers. The presentations will be judged and presenters will have the opportunity to win awards.
