|Kathy Kelly, American peace activist, author, co-coordinator of Voices for Creative Nonviolence, and three-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee, is one of the founding members of Voices in the Wilderness. Her work advocating peace, defending targets of US military campaigns, and advocating for inmates of U.S. prisons has brought her to Iraq numerous times and led to numerous arrests. She lives in Chicago.

Staceyann Chin is a spoken word poet, performing artist, and LGBT rights political activist. Her work has been published in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Pittsburgh Daily, and has been featured on the television show, 60 Minutes. She has recently released her autobiography, The Other Side of Paradise: A Memoir. She grew up in Jamaica, and now lives in New York.
