The Executive Board of the Central Committee

Ali Rearick President E-mail Ali is a University of Akron graduate with an Associates in Criminal Justice Technology, and a B.A. in Emergency Management. To advance her career, she is now pursuing her M.A. in Higher Education Administration and holds a Graduate Assistantship in the Department of Student Life. Post-graduation, Ali hopes to stay in Student Affairs and enjoys reading, bike riding, time with family and friends, and playing with her puppy. Word on the street is that she is also an excellent cook!
Kevin Crewson Vice President E-mail Kevin received his undergraduate degree in Marketing Management from the University of Akron in 2007. He is currently pursuing his M.S. in Higher Education Administration in the College of Education. Kevin also works as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student Judicial Affairs and hopes to remain in the field of student conduct administration after graduation. He also has intentions of pursuing his J.D. in Higher Education Law within the next five years. His hobbies include watching ridiculous amounts of movies, going to concerts, taking his new Mazda 3 on road trips as frequently as possible, and serving as the president of the Epsilon Sigma Association of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, Inc. in Akron, Ohio.
Pete Aubry Treasurer E-mail Pete earned degrees in Political Science and Psychology from John Carroll University and now joins the Higher Education Administration graduate student population at Akron. Pete serves to help student organizations realize their goals by working as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Student Life. As an Eagle Scout, it comes as no surprise that Pete is interested in spending time with friends, traveling, and above all, camping in the great outdoors.

John Highman College of Education E-mail John graduated from Mount Union College with a B.A. in Political Science and Minors in AYA Education, Legal Studies, and Spanish. He is currently pursuing his M.A. in Higher Education Administration and plans to get his Ph.D thereafter. He currently holds an assistantship with the Office of New Student Orientation and spends his free time with his wife, family, and friends watching movies, playing games, and enjoying Cleveland sports.
Rebecca Wehr College of Creative and Professional Arts E-mail Rebecca has an undergraduate background in Art History from the University of Cincinnati. Having a passion for museums, art galleries, theater, dance, concerts, and architecture, Rebecca hopes to get her M.A. in Arts Administration with a focus on visual arts. She holds a GA in Emily Davis Gallery, Myers School of Art and enjoys photography, painting, and jewelry making in her spare time.
Ehsan Moharerri College of Engineering E-mail Ehsan earned his bachelors in Chemical Engineering from The University of Tehran. His graduate studies hope to earn him an M.S. in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering with a focus on thermodynamic modeling and simulations. When he's not engrossed in his studies, he enjoys literature, music, theater, and most importantly sports.
Ratan Kishore Mishra College of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering E-mail Ratan is a graduate of Visveswaraya Tech. University in India. Both his undergraduate and graduate pursuits have been in Chemical Engineering. He once served as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science in India and since 2007 has been a Polymer Engineering Ph.D student here in Akron.
Martin Mayer Buchtel College of Arts and Sciences E-mail Martin earned his Political Science degree from Akron and has opted to stay with us as he pursues his graduate studies in Public Administration. Martin currently works with the Office of International Programs as a Graduate Assistant and wants to make a difference in the lives of the people he serves in his career. He is an avid fan of traveling, sports, literature, and music.
Cassandra Dunham College of Nursing E-mail Cassandra is a former graduate of The University of Akron receiving her Bachelors of Nursing, Associate of Science, and Associate of Liberal Arts during her undergraduate career. She is currently pursuing her Doctoral Nursing degree. She loves being physically active by working out, running, playing sports, and caring for patients. She currently works as a Research Assistant for the College of Nursing and in her spare time is an Aerobics Instructor for the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.
