Shopping downtown is admittedly quite limited. However, nearby Highland Square offers unique shops of vintage clothing and antiques (take a look at the hip consignment shop Revival). There are two malls in the Akron area including Summit Mall and Chapell Hill Mall. If you are willing to travel a bit farther, there are also a few up-scale shopping centers in the area within a 30- to 45-minute drive including Beechwood Place, Legacy Village, and Crocker Park.
