Welcome to The University of Akron SAE Baja Team
Current meeting times held Monday and Wednesday starting at 4 and continuing through the evening in ASEC Rm 10A.
Objective: SAE Baja is an intercollegiate engineering design competition geared towards undergraduate engineering students. The object of the competition is to simulate real-world engineering design projects and related challenges. Each team is competing to have its design accepted for manufacture by a fictitious firm. The students must function as a team to design, build, test, promote and compete with a vehicle within the limits of the rules. Students must also generate financial support for the project as well as manage their educational priorities.
