Team History
The University of Akron Supermileage Team has been attending the SAE sponsored design competition in Marshall Michigan since the mid-1990’s. In past years it was often a one-year thing, where seniors would use it a part of the car design as their senior project. The team would compete one year, graduate, and then there would be no team for another year until a new group came along. However, recently the team has been focused on recruiting new members and continuing the team. Over the last three years the team has stayed together and because of this we have been able to achieve significant improvements in design and performance over these years. We hope to continue recruiting new members to carry on the team for years to come! |
