SAMFC/T (The Society for the Advancement of Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy) is a recognized graduate student organization formed in 2002 in order to encourage and promote academic achievement, research, mentorship, professional development, advocacy, networking, and service to the profession of marriage and family counseling/therapy among graduate students, faculty, and others related to The University of Akron's Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy programs in the College of Education.
