Non-Smoking Policy

The College of Health Professions states in its mission that we support human health and wellness.  Smoking, in any form, is harmful and therefore cannot be supported in our mission of wellbeing.  Therefore as of January 1, 2014, The College of Health Professions and each of its Schools, prohibits tobacco use in all its forms including smokeless tobacco and smoking through any method (cigarettes, cigars, pipes and any similar devices). This policy also applies to e-cigarettes. This policy is intended for the College of Health Profession’s classrooms, labs and clinics where our schools are located.

This policy is consistent with University policy 3359-20-05.5.
