- The School's historic costume and textile collection features more than 2,000 items.
- A well-equipped computer lab is provided for students, and is an integrated part of every program.
- UA's Center for Child Development offers programs for more than 100 toddlers, pre-school children and school-age children. The center also is a service valued by parents on campus and in the community.
- The School's dietetics alumni are impressive. In the past five years, graduates of The University of Akron's Coordinated Program have achieved a 90% pass rate on the national exam for dietitians, far exceeding the national average.
