2017 HLC VISIT

We are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), one of the six federally recognized regional accreditors in the U.S.

Our latest comprehensive evaluation by the commission occured Feb. 12-15, 2017.

The commission has altered the process, now favoring a more data- and evidence-focused approach rather than narrative. See the accreditation criteria.

REPORT AND RESPONSE

August 2017: A final action letter was received following a de novo (or fresh) review by the Institutional Actions Council of the Higher Learning Commission, a decision-making body composed of a subset of the Peer Review Corps ranks and members of the public. The IAC has the authority to concur with or modify the recommendations made by the site visit team.
