



Health insurance coverage (excluding dental coverage) for dependents of recipients of Ohio retirement system benefits is provided if the retiree's original appointment date was prior to January 1, 1992 and had ten consecutive academic years of full-time service with the University immediately prior to retirement and the dependent was eligible for insurance when the retiree's health insurance coverage was terminated by the University. [Note: for employees on a twelve-month contract, a year is defined as twelve continuous calendar months.] Group medical insurance for the retiree is provided by the Ohio retirement system.
