Duties: The University of Akron’s Engineering and Science Technology Department seeks to add to its pool of part-time faculty in the following program areas: Chemistry, Physics, Electronics, Mechanical, Drafting, Surveying, and Construction Engineering Technologies with immediate need in Electronic Engineering Technology and Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
Instructors with expertise are needed in: Manufacturing Management, MastereCAM Software, CNC Programming, Industrial Safety, Production and Inventory Control, Manufacturing Automation, Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Simulation, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Certification, Circuit Analysis, Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Machinery, Microcontrollers, MATLAB and LabVIEW softwares.
Qualifications: Master’s degree required, PE preferred.
Comments: This is a part-time temporary position.
