


THOUGH VOTERS often seek guidance from friends, family and pundits, there is one source of counsel held by many in the highest regard — God.
Dr. John Green, distinguished professor of political science at The University of Akron, will answer the question “How does God want you to vote?” at an interfaith community event from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at the First Congregational Church of Akron, 292 E. Market St., adjacent to the UA campus.
Following a 30-minute lecture in which Green will address the relationship between religious principles and politics, he will take part in an interfaith panel discussion moderated by Dr. Jay Groat, senior pastor of the First Congregational Church of Akron.
