The 10th annual Hospitality Scholarship Golf Tournament to support the Donald L. Patterson Hospitality Scholarship will be held Friday, May 10, at J.E. Good Park Golf Course, 530 Nome Ave., Akron, beginning at 10 a.m.
The registration price of $60 per person includes lunch, refreshments, 18 holes of golf and golf cart use. The reservation deadline is Friday, April 26.
The tournament is hosted by the Akron/Summit Convention and Visitors Bureau. Proceeds will help fund scholarships for students in The University of Akron Summit College Hospitality Management program.
"Each semester we award two $500 scholarships, which are made possible through this golf tournament," says Jamal Feerasta, professor of hospitality management.
