Dr. David Baker
Dr. David Baker, Margaret Clark Morgan executive director of the Center for the History of Psychology and professor of psychology at The University of Akron, has been appointed to the 10-member Smithsonian Affiliations Advisory Council.
The council represents the Smithsonian Institution's 170 affiliates, a select group of museums and cultural, educational and arts organizations that share the Smithsonian's resources with the world. Smithsonian Affiliates benefit from artifact loans, resource identification assistance, education and performing arts programs, expert speakers, teacher workshops, museum staff career development and technical assistance.

Baker is honored to be part of the council. "The reputation that accompanies the tagline, 'Smithsonian Affiliate,' is one of engagement — one that The University of Akron's Center for the History of Psychology strives to uphold," says Baker.
