Are you ready to make the most of your Akron Experience during your years at UA? To help you on this journey of self-discovery, we’ve got great advice to offer from four recent College of Business Administration grads whose experiences in and out of the classroom prepared them to be real-world ready. Here’s what they have to say.

"Take risks."

Aniqa Feerasta earned degrees in economics and business administration in 2010. Since then, she has worked locally and abroad in Afghanistan. She is now a site merchandiser for Amazon.com in Seattle, Wash.

"Don’t be afraid to ignore your major."

As a Fulbright Scholar, she spent a year in Peru developing a business model to provide sustainable sanitation to urban poor. She’s now completing a master’s degree in sustainable development in Paris, France.

"Own something."
