Denise Henry

Denise Henry promotes the University's science, technology, engineering and mathematics news.

Prior to joining UA in 2008, Henry served as the editor of Akron Life & Leisure, for which she earned a second-place Ohio Excellence in Journalism award for her feature reporting.

Previously, she was an assistant public relations director at San Gabriel Valley Medical Center in California and a public relations manager for the former Greater Cleveland Growth Association. Denise's children, Matt and Paige, are her greatest sources of pride and joy.
