Ron Ramos joined The University of Akron in January 2009, bringing a unique approach to the creative process based upon his years of international and national brand advertising.

Over the years, Ron's award-winning work has received international recognition at such events as the Cannes Advertising Festival to the FIAP Advertising Festival in Latin America.
Ron studied art and design at Parsons School of Design, and received a bachelor's degree from the New York Institute of Technology. He has completed coursework toward a master's degree from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico.
His favorite marketing book is Ogilvy on Advertising because the entire premise of the book boils down to one simple statement: "Advertising is salesmanship."
