Going to the game? Here's where to park on campus
STUDENTS PARK FOR FREE!
UA students with a valid UA parking permit can now park for free on campus on game days.
UA has thousands of spaces available on campus for Zips fans. We recommend that you arrive early and give yourself ample time to find a space and walk or shuttle to the stadium. You can walk to the stadium in less than 15 minutes from most spaces.
Parking on campus is $5 per vehicle. UA students with a valid UA parking permit can park for free.
Looking for something to do before the game? Visit ZipsFest just north of the stadium. There will be food, music and all sorts of pregame revelry.
Notes and recommendations:
- The Buchtel/Carroll exit ramps on Route 8 will be closed about two hours before game time. We recommend that motorists southbound on Route 8 exit at Perkins. If you are coming from the south, stay on I-77 and exit at the Main Street/Broadway exit. More driving recommendations are below the map.
- Except for students, regular UA parking permits will not be valid on game days for people coming to the game.
- If you are coming to campus for class or another nongame purpose, show your UA parking permit and tell the attendant your purpose. You will not be charged.
- Tailgating is permitted; however, we ask that you use small gas grills only and limit the use of grills to surface lots only. Please follow our tailgating guidelines.
- Free Roo Express shuttles will run between InfoCision Stadium and downtown locations. See downtown shuttle information (updated Nov. 4). For students, the West route will continue to run on game days.

- Parking for people with a disability placard: If you have a state-issued disability placard, please park in the first level of the East Campus Parking Deck at Carroll and Spicer streets ($5 per vehicle). A free shuttle will take you to the stadium.
- Fans wishing to bring an RV must purchase a RV parking pass prior to game day. To purchase a pass, call the Athletics Ticket Office at 1-888-99-AKRON.
