Program Review

National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)

The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) annually surveys the engagement behaviors of freshmen and senior students, measuring the contributions of these behaviors to effective educational practices. This is done to not only measure the engagement practices of students and the corresponding trends, but also in order to determine which engagement factors contribute to and consequently encourage or reinforce those principles of engagement and effective learning in higher education.
