The Beginning College Student Survey of Engagement (BCSSE) is a survey of student experiences and expectations related to campus and classroom engagement. The contents of these reports detail information from BCSSE completed by new incoming students during orientation for the 2012-2013 school year. This is meant to give you a portrait of UA incoming students across a variety of areas known to impact student retention and success. BCSSE is a great tool to use in advising, teaching, developing curriculum, helping students understand the expectations of college and adjusting to it, first year courses, career advising and more! Take a look at our reports to learn more about your students!
On this page, you will find the institutional report completed by BCSSE, a comparative report completed by fantastic graduate students in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology department, and various reports specific to colleges or students' major interest areas.
