Welcome to Computer Based Assessment & Evaluation's (CBAE) placement testing services at The University of Akron (UA). CBAE offers COMPASS and Computer Literacy placement testing for UA students in a secure, proctored testing environment. Prospective students who received a UA Orientation, Registration, and Advising email indicating required placement tests may take their tests at UA's Main Campus Test Center, a UA Regional Test Center, or a U.S. COMPASS Remote Test Center.
Please select a test site for further information and procedures. Important note, U.S. COMPASS Remote Test Centers require UA students to find a test site and register in advance through the UA CBAE Office. A remote test fee may apply.
