Testing Lab Procedures and Policies

Testing in Computer Based Assessment and Evaluation is done on a walk-in basis first-come first-serve, during the open lab hours of operation.

Note: Hours are subject to change without notice due to the University closings.

Your UA Zip Card photo ID is REQUIRED to take a test. The name and photo on the ID must be completely legible.

All cell phone/electronic device accessories and listening devices must also be removed and turned off. Cell phone calculators or any cell phone devices are NOT permitted for use on any assessments.

Papers, notebooks, books and other personal belongings are not permitted on the desktop while you are testing The only items permitted on the desktop are those test materials given to you upon admittance to the Testing Center. 

Once you begin testing you may not leave the room and then return to complete your test.  If you must leave the room during your test, your test will be ended and your instructor/professor notified. 

Only students who are testing are permitted in the Testing Center.  Children are not permitted in the Testing Center.  For their safety and according to university policy children may not be left unattended while on campus.

The Testing Center is monitored by proctors and under video/audio surveillance at all times.

Cheating or attempts to cheat will be reported to your instructor and are subject to University Disciplinary Policies.

The proctor will only assist you with any technical questions/difficulties you have during testing.  Please raise your hand if you need assistance.

Testing staff and proctors assume no responsibility for personal belongings.

Respect others taking tests by remaining quiet during your test.
