Instructional Design

Instructional Technology is more than just AV equipment, videotapes, websites, and computers. It is a process that uses instructional tools in conjunction with learning theories to organize, sequence, present, and reinforce information appropriately for particular teaching and learning situations. Our team will work with faculty to analyze your teaching goals and the needs of your learners. We can then help you select the best approach to meet those goals and assess the results. Faculty input is critical to this process. Instructors are the experts on the subject and the teaching. Instructional designers keep up-to-date on the technology tools available, current learning activity design approaches, and assessment strategies. If your students are struggling with a specific lesson, we would love to work with you to design a solution!
