Biography
Barbara Medlock, R.N., M.S.N. has been Hotline Coordinator for the SUPPORT Hotline at Portage Path Behavioral Health since 1994. The SUPPORT Hotline is part of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline network and takes calls from people in crisis and who may be suicidal. She has been a co-facilitator for the Summit County Suicide Prevention Coalition since 2005. Barb is a psychiatric nurse and has worked in a variety of clinical settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Akron and her Masters of Science degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from Kent State University.
