Automount Network Drives

Please follow the following instructions to automount your network drives when you log into your machine. This will only work when you are on campus. In order to mount them from home you need to setup your VPN client and log in with that. This is also a known issue with VPN and SMB network shares (Windows Network Files shares) and VPN connection. You must use the Servers IP address and Sharename in order to map University network file shares from home.

From the Finder Menu at top of screen, click on the Apple menu then click System Preferences

In the Accounts Preference Panel click on the Login Items Tab>

Drag the Mounted drive from your desktop to the login items panel
