The software you are about to install
will allow a University of Akron ZipSupport
representative to remotely
connect to your computer.
The representative will be able to control your keyboard and
mouse and see what is displayed on your computer screen.
If at any point, you wish to terminate the session, Press the
DISCONNECT button
on your screen.
If you feel that ANY ZipSupport representative
has acted inappropriately, Please terminate
the session immediately, and call the ZipSupport manager, Holly
Mothes at
972 7690 to report the issue.
The End user is responsible ensuring that their data is backed up in a
secure location. ZipSupport and The University of Akron are not
responsible for data loss. This software opens a connection through a
third party system in order to establish a connection. The University
of Akron does not have control of this server. It is theoretically
possible for that third party server to intercept the communication,
however, Crossloop assures that the communication is secure.
