Internet & Server Systems

The Internet and Server Systems group is the central systems administration group for the campus, managing over 100 Linux, UNIX, and Windows servers. ISS develops/installs and maintains the hardware, software and network systems which provide most of the LAN and Internet-based services for the campus, including file-and-print, DNS, directory and authentication, messaging and collaboration, and web-based systems.

ISS serves as a technical resource for the rest of the ITS Division as well as for the campus at large. A goal of the ISS group is to provide secure, highly available and effective systems infrastructures to advance University computing and communications capabilities.
