Welcome to Audio Visual Services

Our main office is located on the ground floor of Bierce Library Room 75, with the AVS staff and student assistants providing support to The University of Akron’s faculty, staff, students and community patrons throughout the campus.

Requests for equipment delivery or pickup may be placed by calling the main office X-7811.

The Classroom Services staff will deliver equipment on campus, assist with the set up of the equipment and will help to troubleshoot any technical problems.

The technology-enhanced classrooms are maintained by technicians from AVS. The tech-enhanced classrooms are equipped with a screen, video projector, vhs player, and dvd player.
