Guidelines - Preventing Viruses
• Do not open suspicious e-mail attachments or files of suspicious origin.
• Do not visit web sites or click on links that are suspicious or that you do not trust.
• Install anti-virus software and check for updates daily. Instructions are available on this web page to configure McAfee to automatically update the virus definitions. These instructions are titled "McAfee Auto Update Configuration".
• Check for and apply any security updates to your operating system and applications weekly.
