Communicator Training

- Microsoft® Messenger for the Mac
Microsoft® Office Communicator 2005 and Microsoft® Messenger for the Mac are communication software that allows individuals with a UAnet account to send each other instant messages, files, and view an individual’s presence (for example, online, busy, out-of-office). When you are away from the office, you may use Microsoft® Office Communicator Web Access.
Office Communicator
Office Communicator also allows application sharing and video. If you currently are using Microsoft® Messenger for instant messaging on a PC, it is recommended that you switch to Office Communicator.
Communicator will be pushed automatically to faculty and staff computers. If you want to install the software, click below on the Install Office Communicator link and follow the instructions. There is no cost involved to you.

Messenger for the Mac
To obtain a copy of Messenger, contact the Help Desk at x6888. Messenger will be downloaded to your Mac. To install the software, click below on the Install Messenger link and follow the instructions. There is no cost involved to you.
