The following is a list of preparatory materials that you might want to try as you prepare for the LSAT. Note: The University of Akron School of Law does not endorse or represent any LSAT preparatory course/material. This information is simply provided as a service to prospective law students.

  1. Law School Admission Council (LSAC): LSAC is the organization that develops and administers the LSAT. They sell copies of old tests to aid students in preparation for the exam. Since these are actual copies of actual LSAT exams that have actually been administered at one time, the resources offered by LSAC generally provide the best gauge of how you can expect to perform on the LSAT.

If you are not located in northeast Ohio, you may want to contact a local college, university, or community college to ask whether or not they offer LSAT preparation courses. In addition, most libraries and bookstores carry commercial LSAT preparation guides published by Kaplan, Princeton Review, Barron's, and other companies.
