Tour the Law School
Tours are offered Monday through Friday, 9:00 am through 5:15 pm, by appointment only. Contact the Admissions Office at 800.425.7668 or email@example.com to set up an appointment for a tour. The Admissions Office reserves the right to group multiple visitors into tour groups.
Note that we do not schedule appointments to interview applicants or to discuss individual applications, and we strongly encourage applicants to carefully read the application requirements and Frequently Asked Questions, rather than making appointments to discuss the paperwork involved in the law school application.
The School of Law is a public building and is thus open to the public, so if you would prefer to show yourself around, download and print our self-guided tour to assist you. This document covers everything an admissions representative would during a personal tour.
Observing a class is a great way to get a feel for how law school is conducted in general, and to observe the way professors and students interact at Akron Law in particular. Class observations are crucial in determining whether or not a given law school is the right “fit” for you.
Most day classes begin at 8:30, 10:30, 1:00 and 3:00 and run for 90 minutes. Most evening classes begin at 6:30 and run for 90 minutes or three hours. Click here for the current schedule of classes. If you would like to observe a class, please contact the Admissions Office at 800.425.7668 or firstname.lastname@example.org. When you call, please have an idea of when you would like to observe a class, and which class you would like to observe. Click here to look at our current schedule of classes. We generally suggest observing first-year classes, which appear in the upper-half of the schedule of classes. Also note that most of our professors like to have at least a week’s notice of classroom visitors.
Travel to Akron
The greater Akron area is served by two airports: the Akron-Canton Regional Airport (roughly 20 minutes south of the School of Law) and the Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport (roughly 35 minutes north of the School of Law). Both airports have many ground transportation options, including hotel and inter-airport shuttles and rental car counters.
