The University of Akron School of Law will host a two information sessions this year (one in the fall semester and one in the spring semester) especially for veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces considering law school. Each session will address the law school admission and financial aid process as well as veteran educational benefits. Each session will also include an optional tour of the School of Law.
Dates and locations are as follows:
Session 1: Monday, October 17, 5:15 pm, School of Law (Room TBA)
Session 2: Wednesday, February 15, 5:15 pm, School of Law (Room TBA)
The content of all sessions is identical. Topics to be addressed include...
- Veteran educational benefits
- The application process
- Loans and scholarships
- Joint degree programs
- The LSAT and CAS
- Any other relevant topics as suggested by the audience
Each session will end by 6:30 pm. An optional 45-minute tour of the School of Law will follow each session.
