On-Campus Interview Program The program is designed to provide convenient and accessible facilities to further the interviewing process at no cost to employers.
Upon scheduling an interview date, employers may list specific requirements for pre-screening purposes. Resumes of qualified applicants will be forwarded to employers for their review approximately two weeks before the interview date. Interview schedules are also forwarded at that time. Alternative Interview Options
If you are unable to interview on campus, the Career Planning and Placement Office is ready to assist your organization in a number of ways:
- Resume Collection - Employers unable to interview on campus may request resumes be collected, reviewed, and mailed to them by the Career Planning and Placement Office, or they may choose to receive resumes directly from each individual applicant. Simply supply our office with a copy of your firm resume and NALP form along with your specific hiring criteria or qualifications.
- Job Postings - The University of Akron School of Law maintains an active job posting system for its students and graduates that is updated daily.
- Graduate Placement Bulletin - By listing a job opportunity with the Career Planning and Placement Office, that job then becomes part of the Graduate Placement Bulletin, which is available to alumni on our website and exchanged with over 193 law schools nationwide. By posting your job opportunity with us, this opportunity is viewed by a large audience.
- Job Match Program - Many employers have immediate needs for law clerks, recent graduates or experienced attorneys. Our job match program can provide you with a list of talented individuals tailored to meet your specific needs.
- Job Fairs - University of Akron School of Law students participate in several minority job fairs, including the Cook County Bar Association, Black Law Students Association Midwest Recruitment Conference and the Equal Justice Works Public Interest Law Job Fair.
