The Career Planning Office offers a variety of options within our formal interview programs to assist you in making your recruiting as simple and efficient as possible. The options available in our interview programs include:
On-Campus Interviews (OCI). Interviews are conducted during both the fall and spring semesters. There is no charge to participate in either interview program. Employers pre-screen and select all the candidates they wish to interview.
Resume Collect. The Career Planning Office will collect and send resumes, as well as any other requested application materials, in a single package to employers unable to visit our campus or participate in one of our off-campus interview programs.
Resume Direct. For employers who wish to receive resumes directly from our students during the fall and spring interview programs, the Career Planning Office publicizes information about your organization and the available opportunity, so that students may communicate directly with you to apply.
Employers can register for our interview programs by calling the Career Planning Office directly or by completing the online OCI Registration Form. Registering for an interview program acknowledges your acceptance of the Law School's Non-Discrimination Policy.
Akron Law students actively review our job listings for summer, part-time, and post-graduate employment. Akron Law graduates throughout the country also utilize our job posting database for lateral hiring opportunities. Job openings are posted free of charge on AkronLawJobs, our web-based, password-protected system. Employers may post a job posting by calling the Career Planning Office at 330-972-5321 or by completing the online job posting form and submitting it online, via e-mail or by faxing it to our office at 330-258-2343.
