Featuring Irving B. Sugerman and William D. Dowling.
Irving Sugerman, a partner with Goldman & Rosen, Ltd, is a governmental attorney, litigator and mediator. Mr. Sugerman currently serves as legal counsel to Coventry and Copley Townships and the Village of Lodi, and has served as special counsel to numerous other political subdivisions. Mr. Sugerman also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Akron School of Law, where he teaches the negotiations course.
William D. Dowling offers mediation and dispute resolution services for the legal and business communities at Dowling Mediation. Mr. Dowling also practiced at Buckingham Doolittle and Burroughs, LLC where his practice focused on mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He has extensive experience representing individual and businesses in state and federal courts. He has tried more than 100 cases to jury verdict. He is a past president of the Akron Bar Association and a frequent presenter in ADR and trial practice seminars.
