Alan Arthur Csontos retired as Manager Intellectual Property Function in North America for Michelin Groupe. He has been an active member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation having served as President of the Foundation and as director. He is a member of the ACPC and the Carolina Patent Trademark and Copyright Law Association. He has received patents for his research.
Alan has a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Dayton and a JD from the University of Akron. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and in the U.S. Patent and Trademark office.
He worked as a research engineer for B.F. Goodrich Co., a patent counsel for its successor company Uniroyal Goodrich Tire Co. and then spent the remaining years of full time employment in positions of increasing responsibility with Michelin the successor company.
Alan was born on December 1, 1943 in Elyria, Ohio. He is married to the former Dolores M. Novotny. |
