Randall King graduated from The University of Akron School of Law in 1973. He received his B.S. from The University of Akron in 1968.
Currently the Managing Director and CEO of Merchant & Gould, Randy has been with the firm since 1976. Prior to joining the firm, he served for three years as in-house trademark counsel for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
Randy has over twenty years of experience representing clients’ interests in litigation. His cases have involved trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair competition, false advertising and other Intellectual Property issues. In addition to trial practice, he has extensively counseled clients in the selection and availability of trademarks for many different businesses and industries; the policing of trademarks; and trademark infringement issues.
Mr. King’s professional associations include the American Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Association, the Federal Bar Association, the International Trademark Association, and the Minnesota State Bar Association.
Randy is admitted to the Ohio State Bar and the Minnesota State Bar.
