W. Mack Webner graduated from The University of Akron in 1964 with a B.S. in Business Administration and a J.D. in 1968. He received an L.L.M. in Trade Regulation from New York University in 1974.
Mr. Webner began his career with The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as a Trademark Attorney. He then became Trademark Counsel for International Harvester Company and then moved to GAF Corporation in New York City where he served as Trademark Counsel and Assistant Patent Counsel. Upon leaving the corporate practice, Mr. Webner formed the firm of Littlepage and Webner and then Nies, Webner, Kurz and Bergert in Arlington, Virginia. In 1996, Mr. Webner merged his practice with the Intellectual Property Law firm of Sughrue Mion, PLLC.
Mr. Webner is an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University where he teaches Trademarks and Unfair Competition. He holds memberships in the State Bars of Ohio, Illinois, New Jersey, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the bars of the United States Supreme Court and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Federal Circuits.
He is married to Corinne Palmer Webner, a University of Akron graduate. She received a J.D. from George Mason University and is also an attorney.
