Why did you become involved with the IP Council?

Because of the innovation related leadership of The University of Akron President, Luis Proenza.

What do you hope to accomplish in your role as a member of the IP Council?

To link the IP law program with The University of Akron Research Foundation’s innovation services programs.

What do you enjoy most about practicing IP Law?

Linking the fields of science, engineering, business, and law, and connecting academicians with practitioners to improve our economy and to improve the human condition.

What advice would you give to students interested in pursuing a career in IP Law?

Be flexible on the types of intellectual property related careers you may want to pursue.
