REGISTRATION INFORMATION

SYMPOSIUM CHAIR: Jeffrey M. Samuels, David L. Brennan Professor of Law and Director, Center for Intellectual Property Law and Technology, The University of Akron School of Law

REGISTRATION FEE: $250 ($325 after Feb. 22); Faculty $100; students free, however registration is required. If unable to attend, a copy of the symposium materials is available for $50. This fee covers the symposium sessions, continental breakfast, lunch and the symposium materials. Symposium materials will be provided on a flashdrive. Please note on the registration form if you would like a hard copy of the symposium materials. An additional $30 will be charged to walk-in registrants.

SYMPOSIUM SITE: John S. Knight Center, 77 East Mill St., Akron, Ohio

PARKING: Free parking is offered adjacent to the John S. Knight Center ─ at the parking deck located at the corner of Broadway and Mill streets. A parking pass will be e-mailed and/or available at the registration table.

ACCOMMODATIONS: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Quaker Square Inn at The University of Akron, 135 South Broadway, across the street from the John S. Knight Center, as well as at the Hilton Akron/Fairlawn (3180 W. Market St., Akron, Ohio). Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until Feb. 5, 2010, at which time reservations will be accepted on a space available basis. Please call the Quaker Square Inn at 330-253-5970 or the Hilton Akron/Fairlawn at 800-867-5000 to make reservations and mention the School of Law. Please note that the Hilton Akron/Fairlawn is not within walking distance of the University and additional transportation arrangements may need to be made.

may be made at www.carrental.com.Taxi service is advertised as being available 24 hours a day at Akron-Canton Airport and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. REFUND: Cancellations made before Feb. 22, 2010, will be refunded less an administration charge of $50. No refunds will be made after this date, but substitutions are welcome.
