This year's program will focus on Alternative Dispute Resolution, in the context of intellectual property law litigation. A distinguished panel will explore the various options available and the advantages and disadvantages of each. The program also will feature presentations on international patent law developments, the interplay between the right of publicity and the First Amendment, pending legislative proposals relating to the liability of states for acts of infringement and the protection of databases and developments regarding the resolution of domain name disputes. The Honorable Randall R. Rader, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, will be the featured luncheon speaker.
