On Friday, September 23, 2005, Akron Law hosted a reception and portrait unveiling in celebration of the lives, philanthropy and professional accomplishments of Beatrice and C. Blake McDowell, Jr. The McDowell family has been a generous supporter of the Law School for over three decades. These portraits will be displayed in the Law School, along with the portrait of C. Blake McDowell, Sr., for whom our Law Center is named.
