Intel's second annual "Most Unwired College Campuses" survey, which ranks the top 50 schools in the U.S. based on wireless computing access, ranked The University of Akron number 3 in the nation.

Akron was ranked ahead of such prestigious schools as American University, St. John's University, University of Southern California, Cornell University, and the University of Pennsylvania. Only two other universities in Ohio made the top 50 ranking.
